EU Registered Lawyers

If you are a national of a Member State of the European Union and are qualified to practise as a lawyer in your home Member State, you may be able to register as a foreign qualified Barrister under the Establishment Directive (98/5/EC).

The Bar of Ireland welcomes applications from lawyer-applicants who are appropriately qualified in their home EU Country.

The following lawyers have registered with The Bar of Ireland and have been issued with a qualifying certificate for the practice year. The lawyers concerned are entitled to practise in this jurisdiction under their home title, as provided for by S.I. No.732 of 2003 European Communities (Lawyers’ Establishment) Regulations, 2003 and S.I. No.752 of 2004 (European Communities (Lawyers’ Establishment) (Amendment) Regulations, 2004.
