On Saturday, 24 May, the Tort and Insurance Bar Association (TIBA) will host their Annual Conference in the Distillery Building, Dublin 7.


The Tort and Insurance Bar Association looks forward to welcoming their Annual Conference on May 24th, 2025. This year’s event will examine the latest updates in the practice area across four panels consisting of legal practitioners and members of the Judiciary. Tickets are still available, register below.

  • The event will be followed by 6:00pm: Drinks Reception and Canapes in The Sheds.

Jeremy Maher SC, Chair of TIBA, will deliver the opening remarks before President of the High Court Mr Justice David Barniville commences the first panel of the day. The conference will host experts in the field of tort and privacy law including Seán Guerin SC, Chair of the Council of The Bar of Ireland, Rossa Fanning SC, Attorney General of Ireland, in addition to a broad range of law library members specialising in tort law.

Speakers will explore a range of topics including the art of advovacy, ethics in the context of advocacy work and developments in tort litigation such as negligence and products liability and updates in privacy law.
