Biography
Shane’s practice focuses on commercial, chancery and EU law, and he has extensive experience in areas including competition, financial regulation, State aid, public procurement, professional negligence, insurance and sanctions.
Shane began his career with Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, practising competition, antitrust and State aid law in Brussels. He then joined Kirkland & Ellis LLP, London and was appointed partner in the Antitrust and Competition law team before returning to the Irish Bar.
Shane holds a Masters degree in Law and Finance from the University of Oxford and a Bachelors degree in Business and Law from University College Dublin.
