In Re KK (A Ward of Court) (No.2) [2023] IEHC 565– acted for State Agency in application for protective orders in wardship in respect of existing ward of court whose wardship pre-dated the entry into force of the Assisted Decision-Making (Capacity) Act 2015 – Court considered the requirements for an inherent jurisdiction detention order for an existing ward of court.

IF v JG (Ukraine – Grave Risk) [2023] IEHC 495, [2023] 2 ILRM 209 – acted for father seeking return of his child to Ukraine – Court gave extensive and fact-specific consideration of the circumstances in which the grave risk defence is available under the 1980 Hague Convention and ultimately directed return of the child to Ukraine.

Philomena Lee v Minister for Children, Equality, Disability, Integration and Youth (2021/303 JR) acted for applicant in judicial review challenge to report of the Commission of Investigation on Mother and Baby Homes.
