Liam Taylor BL

Liam Taylor practices in commercial, general practice, and chancery.

Before joining The Bar of Ireland, Liam worked in the Data Privacy team of a UK Magic Circle firm. In this role he was involved in a diverse range of projects relating to Artificial Intelligence, Schrems II implementation, transnational national security laws, and GDPR. He also served as a coordinator at a leading UK foreign policy think tank.

Liam is a member of the Department of Justice’s legal panel for the International Protection Office. In this role, he makes recommendations to International Protection Office on applications for international protection and/or subsidiary protection.

As a student Liam was keenly involved in mooting, winning a national competition before the UK Supreme Court.
