Liam M O’Brien BL

Practicing primarily on the Cork Circuit, Liam has a mixed practice including Personal Injury, General Practice, Criminal Law, Family Law, and a particular focus on the area of Employment Law.  He advises clients on contentious and non-contentious matters and appears for clients at all levels of the Irish Courts and in statutory tribunals such as the WRC and Labour Court.

Employment Law 

Specializes in the areas of unfair dismissals, employment equality and other miscellaneous provisions.

Acts on behalf of employees and employers and is experienced in both pre-litigation advisory work and in litigating cases once a complaint has been made or proceedings have issued.

Tort & Personal Injury

Advises & appears in a range of tort disputes including personal injury, negligence, trespass and nuisance.

General Practice

Represents clients in all civil disputes including those relating to contracts, debt claims, proceedings under the Multi-Unit Developments Act 2011, taxation, enforcement actions and statutory claims.

Experienced in workplace dispute investigations such as discrimination, harassment and other forms of misconduct.
