The Law Library provides a library and information service to the members of the Law Library. It is the central physical point of access to a modern, court-going library service. The collection of around 130,000 items is made up primarily of legal textbooks, journals, legislation and case law.
The service also manages access to a variety of commercial and in-house electronic databases. A comprehensive Information Skills training programme is delivered to members of the library. More recently library staff have developed a custom-designed information portal for members to access our resources remotely.
The main library is based in The Four Courts, Dublin. Satellite libraries operate in the Distillery Building, Church Street, Dublin, The Criminal Courts of Justice, Parkgate Street, Dublin, as well as Washington Street, Cork.
Visiting the Library
Our library is a privately funded library and we regret that access is only available to members of The Law Library.
