IRLI Malawi wins Bar Council Human Rights Award
4th May 2013
The second Bank Irish Law Awards 2013 took place Friday 4th of May in the Four Seasons Hotel, Dublin. The winners of the inaugural Bar Council Human Rights Award were two Irish Rule of Law International lawyers Ruth Dowling BL and Eithne Lynch, “whose legal work has made a profound change in the rights and wellbeing of those without a voice.”

Bar Council expresses fundamental concerns regarding proposed

Commenting on the publication of the Legal Services Regulation Bill 2011, the Bar Council said that while it remains fully open to reform of the legal system the Bill raises fundamental concerns about the administration of justice in this country and access to legal services for members of the public.
